My Daily Food &Vitamin Routine

My Daily Food &Vitamin Routine

This is not a clean eating post and if you know me you know I don't believe in diets.

This is a post of things I eat & drink which make me feel good. A cheeseburger will make me feel good, sometimes. Butter Pecan Hagen Daz always makes me feel good. But I can't eat those things everyday and expect to feel good or think great thoughts about my choices. Here's a sampling of the things I eat and drink to keep me at 100%:

AM:
Tea- Tazo Mint Tea with fresh lemon and ginger
Vitamins- I take a multi vitamin plus my own vitamin blend of 6 different nutrients
Apple cider vinegar shot- 2 tablespoons of Braggs ACV mixed with as much room temp water as you need

Mid Morning:
A skyr or fage yogurt
a hot coffee with cream and 1 splenda (no sugar or syrup)

Mid Afternoon:
A green juice with mostly veggies i.e., Blue Print, Soba or Evolution from Starbucks
A great fresh juice if you're so lucky is spinach, kale, lemon and half a banana or 3 chunks of pineapple. Rough to drink, but the energy boost is similar to an afternoon latte.

Evening/Before Bed
Tea - something relaxing like chamomille or sleepytime if I have insomnia
Another ACV shot
Something sweet - a piece of chocolate or a spoonful of ice cream or nutella

Keeping to this routine keeps me balanced and happy.

I get nutrients, I've lowered my caffeine intake and having a few steps satisfies that scorpio need for order I have.  I would often forget to take my vitamins, but now that I do it with an ACV shot and after I make my tea, I'm less likely to forget. Like I said I I don't eat 100% clean or healthy always but I've noticed I'm more likely to make better choices since I've started my day with this routine.
